For 9 years Claudia worked in various roles within KPMG in Ghana to the position of Deputy Manager within the tax unit with experience in various assignments involving tax payroll processing, preparing corporate and individual annual income tax returns, giving general tax advice, providing tax audit assistance, responding to tax queries by tax officials, conducting tax health review and providing international executive services (global mobility services) to expatriate client.

Claudia’s key clients included Swire Pacific Offshore Operations (Pte) Limited, Newmont Ghana Limited, Tullow Ghana Limited, Dizengoff Ghana Limited, BLY Ghana Limited, Kosmos Energy and Karpowership Ghana Limited.

She has also engaged in legal and regulatory advisory work on proposals in the Water & Sanitation Sector and Aviation Industry in Ghana. From 2019 to October 2022 she was the lead legal, tax, internal audit and compliance consultant for the two National ID projects, the Foreigners Identification Management Systems and National Identification Systems Projects being delivered by the Margins ID Group in partnership with the National Identification Authority (NIA) and was responsible for the legal, tax, internal audit, compliance and regulatory management of the projects reports, contractual obligations, as well as on-going legal transaction advisory necessary for the implementation of the project on behalf of Margins ID Group.

Claudia is the founder and Lead Consultant for Addison–Young Company Limited which works in providing corporate governance, financial, operations and IT internal audits, compliance, and management advisory services to clients.

She is also a legal practitioner and managing solicitor of Addison – Young Legal PRUC and has over the past 6 years made representations on behalf of clients in both civil and criminal matters in the Superior Courts of Ghana. She prepares legal opinions on commercial transactions, and offers services in criminal, land, estates, family, commercial, employment and labour law, commercial arbitration, and tax law. She also makes representations before other law enforcement agencies on behalf of clients.

Claudia is an Associate of the African Centre for Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Policy; a PPP professionals’ network and policy advocacy think tank based in Ghana.
